Deep in the Dabie Mountains, ShanCha Inc. owns 33,000 acres of wild camellia trees. Thanks to abundant rainfall, warm sunshine and rich soil, the trees grow completely natural. The seeds of those camellia trees absorb all the nutrition from the ecosystem and are extremely black and solid, full of oil.
We hire local experienced farmers to hand pick qualified seeds and follow the ancient oil extraction process, known as the cold press method, to ensure the highest quality of camellia oil. Our raw material (wild camellia seeds) and finished ShanCha® Camellia Oil now are Organic Certified by both China and the USA (Food and Drug Administration).
