On March 11th 2017, the NJTLT (National Junior Tennis & Learning of Trenton) held their 24th annual gala at Hyatt Regency Princeton Hotel. ShanCha Inc. is proud to join together with many other companies and people in participating in this charitable cause.

The National Junior Tennis & Learning of Trenton is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising money for Trenton less fortunate families who can’t afford their children in tennis course. They also focus on academic and life-skills programs promoting values such as physical fitness, perseverance and healthy living through education. Founded in 1975, today NJTLT is one of 300 chapters chartered by the United States Tennis Association Foundation.

A company imbued with a sense of social responsibility, ShanCha Inc. shares a similar vision with NJTLT. We actively participated in the charity event to show our love and support, while also taking the chance to promote ShanCha® camellia oil, so that more Americans can learn about this hidden gem from the mountains which brings enormous benefits to human health, as well as our business concept of environmental protection and community care.

The charity gala organized an auction; members of the community donated items and the money raised by the auction will go towards NJTLT programs. ShanCha Inc. donated several wild organic extra-virgin camellia oils and made many successful bids in the auction, doing our part for the charitable cause of NJTLT.

ShanCha Inc. introduced camellia oil from the poor mountain areas of Xin County in China to the American market overseas. On one hand, we hope to share this rare, natural, healthy cooking oil with American consumers; on the other hand, we aim to use our profit for the protection of the original ecological system and resource of the camellia forest.

To participate in this charity event is a small step towards more active involvement in American social activities to a greater extent, and to introduce the health concept and charitable cause of ShanCha® to more American consumers, but it is also the precious first step! The donations may be limited, but our love is not. It is a small first step that we hope will move towards something much larger.
